Eastern Concepts for the Western Musicians
Renown bansuri flute player John Wubbenhorst will present a workshop "Indian music concepts for the western musician" (see youtube on this page) and a solo bansuri concert (accompanied by Logic 8 studio). John is a disciple of Maestro Hariprasad Chaurasia and has 2 degrees in world music from Rotterdam Conservatorium. He has played with eastern greats like Hariprasad, Debu Chaudhuri, Ramesh Mishra and others as well as western musicians like Victor Wooton, Larry Coryell, Jack DeJohnette and others.
Workshop: 12pm-4pm
Concert: 5pm-7pm
