HOT DAMN!: I am HOT DAMN! I'm a performer and producer of Burlypicks Kentucky and Burlypicks New Orleans. I fell in love with burlesque while living in New Orleans and learned so much from other dancers and via attending various burlesque festivals. I was in Grotesque Burlesque and the first Vava Vixens show. I produced the first PBR BINGO in 2010 that included burlesque, breakdancing, sideshow, drag performers, puppet shows, and any other varietease I came across. My concentration has been also as a fire performer (fire breathing, fire jump rope, poi, fire eating, fire tassels, and fire flog). I am a Satan's Angel Sanctioned Fire Queen (www.satansangel.com). I am 1 in 14 in the world that is sanctioned to legally and safely do this act by BHOF recognized Legend Angel Walker. Yes, I'm right here in Louisville, KY. 1 in 14 in the WORLD. I am a featured performer and detail oriented producer. My concentration for the next year or so will be on performing. I am also available for hire for burlesque, fire, magic, emceeing, event planning consultation, private parties, and more.
The Rotten Cores are a hybrid of vintage country and punk rock, but also incorporate elements as far reaching as Celtic, swing and folk while always maintaining a cohesive sound. After releasing their debut album Sweet Fellowship in Shame, the Rotten Cores toured nationally as well as continued to grow a following in their hometown of New Orleans. Now with their sophomore release, Sunset Limited, founding members Aden Paul (guitar/vocals) and Kade Alexander (upright bass) are joined by drummer Roy Durand and Dr. Sick, who lent his considerable fiddle skills as a guest on the first record.
Tinderbox Sideshow: Tinderbox Circus Sideshow is one of the last remaining traveling "ten-in-ones" in the country. Our show consists of a variety of working acts, girlie shows (or burlesque), and classic carnival appeal. Our acts range from the classic circus side tent including The Human Blockhead, Sword Swallowing, The Human Pincushions, the Bed of Nails, Clowning, & Fire Eating...to more daredevil stunts the likes of Balancing on Wine Glasses, Eating Glass, Body Piercing Weight Lifting, & our personal favorite...BREAKING THINGS ON THINGS!
