Film screening: Revenge of the Electric Car
When electric cars first appeared on the market in the 1990s, mass production and commercialization was abruptly (and dubiously) shut down. Just a few short years later, behind the closed doors of Tesla, General Motors, and Nissan, the race is back on to develop an affordable, stylish electric car and win over a skeptical public.

On November 14, join Fresh Energy and director Chris Paine at a special screening of "Revenge of the Electric Car." "Revenge" is the riveting sequel to Chris's wildly successful 2006 film "Who Killed the Electric Car?"

Named a Critic's Pick by the New York Times and an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival, Singapore International Film Festival, and more, "Revenge" tells the story of the electric car's improbable comeback.

Before the movie, join Fresh Energy staff at a cash bar reception with Chris at Kinsen Noodles & Bar. (Make sure you order the featured drink of the night - we're toying with the name EVtini - as all proceeds will go directly to Fresh Energy). Check out the Tesla Roadster, Chevy Volt, and Nissan LEAF we'll have on hand and enter to win one of three "Night in Uptown" raffle prizes that include a Kinsen gift certificate and two movie passes. Following the film, Minnesota Public Radio's Euan Kerr will moderate a panel discussion with Chris and Fresh Energy executive director Michael Noble.
