New York City, Let's Get America Vegucated!
Please join us for this very special USA premiere of Vegucated! We're back from a great welcome and world premiere at Toronto Independent Film Festival ready to receive you all here in our hometown, where the movie was made.

This red carpet event is the first of ten stops on our Let's Get America Vegucated! Autumn 2011 tour. Come out, dress up, be in lots of photos, see the movie with us, and have fun!

Before the premiere, we will have a red carpet reception for our early evening ticket buyers and special guests.

After the premiere, our all night long ticket buyers will join the cast and crew for a special after party.

The reception and party will have delicious goodies from Candle Cafe, V-Spot, FoodSwings, Sweet & Sara, Fran Costigan, Cinnamon Snail (made with Earth Balance), Yoli Ouiya (also made with Earth Balance, and Verite Catering, plus Smuttynose beer from City Swiggers and organic wine from Frey Vineyards.

We'll be joined by a slew of special guests, including artist Peter Max, Alex Jamieson, who detoxed Morgan Spurlock after his binge in Super Size Me and authored many cool books, Simone Reyes from the show Running Russell Simmons, author/speaker Victoria Moran, of course Chloe Jo from GirlieGirl Army, and many more.

RSVP and see who will join us here: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=137302183035572

Swing by Candle Cafe, Candle 79, Blossom Du Jour or Cocoa V and flash your ticket for 10% off for a pre-screening dinner.

Special thanks to So Delicious, Obsessive Confection Disorder and Earth Balance for sponsoring our U.S. tour.

Vegucated is a feature-length documentary that follows three meat- and cheese-loving New Yorkers who agree to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks. Lured by tales of weight lost and health regained, they begin to uncover the hidden sides of animal agriculture that make them wonder whether solutions offered in films like Food, Inc. go far enough. Before long, they find themselves risking everything to expose an industry they supported just weeks before. But can their convictions carry them through when times get tough?  This accessible, entertaining documentary showcases the rapid and at times comedic evolution of three people who share one journey and ultimately discover their own paths in creating a kinder, cleaner, greener world, one bite at a time.

Q&A

Question: Hi, This looks great. Before I buy tickets I want to confirm that this is a pro-vegan movie, and ask if the hors d'ouevres will be vegan. Thanks!
Answer: Thank you. Yes, we are a pro-vegan movie. Edibles will also be vegan.

Question: There is a "preorder" DVD option on the tickets. When Will the DVD be available?
Answer: DVDs ship in December

Question: I'm confused as to what is the difference between the $25 option and the $50 option. With the $25 one, are you not able to go to the reception?
Answer: That's correct: $25 is for movie only (priority seating) & $50 is for red carpet reception AND movie. $15 is movie only (last to be seated).

Question: Ok, so the reception is after the movie or before? If before, what time is the reception and what time does the movie start?
Answer: Red carpert reception begins at 6:45. We will seat those folks first, then let everyone else in around 7:45 for 8 pm movie start time.

Question: Are there still just $15 tickets for the film? Best, Jill Herbers
Answer: We have some tickets at all levels as of 7:30 am Thursday 10-13.

Question: How can i buy this movie to show in my Ayurvedic vegan restaurant in Albuquerque.
Answer: We will sell community screenings kits through our e-store over the next few weeks. We will announce it on our Facebook and Twitter pages, plus on our e-newsletter (sign up now on getvegucated.com).
