"LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE" HEALTH AND ARTS FAIR WITH JAZZ CONCERT
L.A.S. Therapy Network and Development Group, Inc., Non-Profit Organization, celebrates September is Deaf Awareness Month, featuring "Laughter is the Best Medicine" Health and Arts Program events.

The National Endowment for the Arts, Tennessee Arts Commission, The Memorial Foundation, Skanska, Tennessee Regulatory Authority, Sam's Club, Nashville Predators, and many others sponsor these family friendly, fun-filled events.

Come comfortably dressed, bring your chairs or blankets [optional], and enjoy health screenings/education, exercise with personal trainers, move to the rhythms during artistic performances and more from in specifically designed areas for children and adult pleasures.  

Our activities include, but are not limited to the following, with Masters of Ceremonies Lelan A. Statom and Tuwanda Coleman [NewsChannel5] and Sharon Kay [WFSK 88.1 FM Fisk
University Radio Station].

Children's Area:  Shrine Circus Clowns featuring 'Mater Juice'; Cama Boys Choir; TSU Cultural Arts and Music Academy activities;
story-time; Malone Studio Dance Performers performances; and more.

Physical/Mental Fitness:  PAJ Fitness Personal Trainer Paul Jack provides cardio, celebrity fitness/boot camp, seniors, and children/youth exercises; chair messages by Unique Message Services [John Turner], and others; hearing-speech screenings; TN Regulatory Authority amplification devices education and application submission; and more.

Adults' Area: NashvilleStandUp.com Comedians Leslie Nash, John Bowman and others; Cheap and Cheerful; Zackary Forbes; Metro Parks and Recreation, Elizabeth Center Senior Dancers [formerly Swinging Seniors Dance Troupe]; Cremona Strings Ensemble Too; and much more.

Jazz Concert:  Featuring The Black Sax with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen; Headliner Chris West; gift raffle; and more.
