ConcealHer @ The Michael Ingbar Gallery
Welcome to Tent Peg Theater Productions! We are an experimental theater company.

ConcealHer is a one-act expressionist farce that presents a hilarious portrait of the struggles faced by women who try to measure up to an impossible standard of "beauty," as it is defined by an industry which turns insecurities into purchases and profit. Following the high school prom, bar pick up, bedroom antics and wedding day debacle of a "typical" American girl, this play uses humor to skewer the fashion industry oppression that comes between women and their men.
Show duration: 1 hour

Tent Peg Theater Productions is committed to making performance art
out of recycled, re-purposed, and re-imagined materials. We seek to create innovative theater that will challenge audiences to engage in dialogue on social issues and to critically examine the effects of consumerism and materialism on our communities. The costumes, properties and set of ConcealHer will be entirely made out of recycled materials primarily from beauty products.
