Some Like It Hot
The Asheville Affiliates are hosting a fundraiser that includes food, craft beer, live music, and raffle items that range from restaurant gift certificates,outdoor recreation and local art. The event will take place July 16, 2015 from 6-9 PM at the Downtown Asheville Masonic Temple at 80 Broad Street/
Musical group, Hank West and the Smokin' Hots combines 25th century pop music with 20th century jazz. Based out of Asheville, the band now fully reunited, consists of guitarist Leo Johnson, keyboardist Andrew Fletcher, drummer Jay Good, and bassist Craig Sandberg, all led by the horn player, Hank West.
Tickets are $25 prior to the event and are $30 at the door. Ticket costs cover all the food, beverages, and entertainment.
The Hope Chest for Women was founded in 2003 to relieve some of the burden created by the cost of breast or gynecologic cancer treatment. They provide support resources, financial assistance, and hope to women living in WNC with breast or gynecologic cancer.
