GENEVA by Bernard Shaw
Bernard Shaw's GENEVA, a satirical page from history, is a comedy that presents a summit meeting designed to contain the increasingly dangerous behavior of three dictators, Herr Battler, Signor Bombardone, and General Flanco (parodies of Hitler, Mussolini and Franco). The three are brought before the International Criminal Court of the League of Nations to justify their atrocities. Written in the style of the great Greek playwright, Aristophanes, the play is as applicable today as when it was first presented in 1938.
