Square Cat Records Launch Party
Square Cat Records is the latest venture from the mind of Patrick Burtch (owner of Rocket 88 Doughnuts) and Mike Angel (lead singer of Bigfoot Yancey). Square Cat Records is a new record label based in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis. Building off the success of the inaugural Virginia Avenue Folk Fest, Patrick and Mike are launching their new record label in grand style at Radio Radio.

The lineup for the night will feature four great local Indy acts:

- Bigfoot Yancey
Bigfoot Yancey is a bohemian blue collar Americana band based in Fountain Square. They recently released their debut EP "Welcome to the City." More info about the band can be found at bigfootyancey.com

- St. Aubin
St. Aubin is the collective work of Trevor St. Aubin, Fredrick Miller III, and Thomas Sargent. Although St. Aubin has only existed for a few months, their music is far from immature. With years of experience under their belts, this trio is ready to change the way you view the sounds that can come from just three musicians.

- Shelby County Sinners
"Wood, wire, and songs that are a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n' roll!"

Since their inception in 2011, the Shelby County Sinners have gone from doing occasional shows to being a sought after live act, drawing in listeners with their drummer-less style of music often compared to the early sound of Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two.
Their independently released EP, "6" fully captures the band's live act and highlights the percussive interplay between singer/songwriter Shelby Kelley's acoustic rhythm guitar and Morrison Foster's attack on the upright bass. Bringing the edge and color is Eric Grimmitt's lead guitar. From this EP, the video for "21st Century Bail-Out Blues" was made.
The band has moved from opening slots for national touring bands to playing full capacity shows of their own at venues in and around the Indianapolis area, building a solid fan base of supporters along the way.
2015 will herald the release of the band's first full length effort, introducing songs with a broader sound range and more of the smart songwriting that has defined the band from the start.

- Adam Kuhn & Kaylie Pickett
Adam Kuhn and Kaylie Pickett are a local Indy duo that create beautiful folk music with a twist.
