St. Cecilia Music Series Presents Altbachisches Archiv
Turns out that even in the case of J.S. Bach, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Coming from a long line of organists, choir masters, and composers, Bach developed an appreciation for their musical abilities, saved their work, and integrated their gifts into his own musical expressions. Come taste the sweet fruit of Bach's family tree! Special guests Ryland Angel and Mary Springfels join a stellar ensemble of voices and instruments in works by J.C. and J.M. Bach, Buxtehude and Tunder.
