The First Metal Circus Metal-Rock & Sideshow Show
Hear that carnival music wrapping around your ankle? See the circus freaks creeping in from the corners? The Metal Circus this way comes! High-energy bands, Coleus, Sight Obscene, and Gorebore; and a freakshow of sideshow from Ms. Bella La Blanc and Xander Lovecraft will kick your lead-up to #Deathfest or Memorial Day into orbit.
The bigtop doors open at 8 PM, and the fun starts at 9 PM.
BANDS
You don't know when the horror GLAM Metal Circus came to town, Coleus splashed on the tent flaps; but, one day, it was there. Tent doors yawned wide and flags fluttering. The Barker beckons you toward the lights of the midway. Fog slithers along the ground, nibbling your ankles with a slimy touch. And oh! the sights! The smells! The freaks?

Sight Obscene is a Metal/Doom Metal band straight out of Richmond, VA. We are heavily influenced by Rob Zombie, Kirk Hammett, Marcus Miller and Neil Peart, to name a few. Furthermore, they have in-turn helped us create an authentic style by composing original and unique material. We aspire to balance our songs with piercing metal leads and thundering drums. Gorebore is a two-piece deathgrind outfit hailing from the dirtiest, grimiest pit of Pasadena, MD. They are for those who like: Pig Destroyer, Arsonists Get All The Girls, Dying Fetus, and Aborted. GOREBORE emerges from the abyss with an arson of heavy, grinding metal. This sinister 2 piece combo of brutality conjured by A.J. Bella La Blanc, Stepford Wife Gone Wild
Bella La Blanc is a burly-q veteran who fell in love with performance when she started singing and dancing at the age of 4 and was raised a musical theater kid who even chose to major in theater in her college years. She is a full time stay at home mom of 2, and housewife by day.... vixen of the stage and tease by night, which is how she received the title, "The Stepford Wife Gone Wild".
During her career she has performed in The Southern Exposure pageant and won best group 2012 with Kubrilesque performed there solo 2013-2014. She has also hit the stage at The Detroit Dirty Show, 1st Michigan Burlesque Festival, (IDKE) International Drag King Community Extravaganza. Bella competed in The Main Event at The Great Burlesque Exposition in 2014,won Best Singer at the 2014 DC regional Burlypicks, Headlined The 2014 Spring Fling Burlesque Festival in MI,performed this year at The Fierce International Queer Burlesque Festival. This past winter, she picked up a couple new performance skills, as she attended and graduated from Coney Island USA's Sideshow School. Recently, she headlined "Game of Aces" at Norwescon in Seattle, where she had the distinct pleasure of meeting the author of the "Song of Ice and Fire" series, Mr. George R. R. Martin.
She is the owner of Glit-O-Rama Productions, based out of Washington DC. She is also part of a touring GOT themed burlesque show. Xander Lovecraft
International traveling performer Xander Lovecraft has the bark of a pitbull with the heart of a Lion, and his self-described "upskirt view" of the burlesque world is certainly a unique one.
From devious vaudevillian, to sideshow bad boy, to up and coming burlesque emcee and performer, Xander is out to conquer everything in his performing sights. He's even recently added singing to his repertoire. This "Jack of all Trades" has come a long way from his first time onstage back in 2010.
His emcee style is equal parts cabaret host, boxing fight night ring announcer, and grimy snarling carnival barker. But when it's all said and done, he's a fan of burlesque first and foremost. He knows what the people have come to see, and is more than happy to deliver it to them.
Xander is the emcee and sideshow director of Glit-O-Rama Productions in Washington DC, along with the 999 Eyes Freakshow and Surreal Sideshow. In the summer of 2012, he emceed the 'Sexy Circus Sideshow' during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with famed international producer Chaz Royal. In the Summer of 2013, he emceed the sideshow tent for Funny or Die's Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival. In 2014, he accepted an invitation to join the Coney Island Circus Sideshow.
When not performing to the masses, he spends his free time either wandering the cosmos in his Firefly-class vessel, or traveling through all of time and space with his Freakshow family.
