"As soon as it was over my first and immediate thought was, "I want to see that again."
-Chriss Cornish, http://conventionfansblog.com/
"This cast is very talented... and doesn't get lost in the large shadows cast by the originators of their roles"
-Erin Reiter, San Diego Theater Examiner
"...while the core of the show mostly intact, it's the touches on the margins that give it some extra spark..."
-Arturo R. Garcia, geekypleasures.com
"[Brian Hammond's] live musical score... [had] a feeling akin to hearing the orchestra at the Pantages, but downsize that number to four members and up the intimacy by tenfold.
-JR Cajigas, http://nerdreactor.com
"This one's a little too fun to ignore... director Andy Lowe's... eye-catching show...features a hard-rocking band, excellent tech effects and a savvy young cast..."
-James Hebert, San Diego Union Tribune/http://www.signonsandiego.com
Dr. Horrible, an aspiring supervillain with his own video blog, is attempting to join the prestigious Evil League of Evil (led by the legendary "thoroughbred of sin", Bad Horse), but his plans are usually foiled by the egotistical superhero Captain Hammer. Horrible's life is thrown for a loop when he falls in love with Penny, a beautiful and optimistic advocate for the homeless he meets at the laundromat, a situation which complicates itself even further when Penny begins dating the boorish, oafish Hammer after he apparently saves her life. Faced with the task of impressing the League, can Horrible overcome his own incompetence to ruin the day, kill the hero, and still get the girl?
Co-writer/creator Zack Whedon (Deadwood) tweeted:
"If you are a dr horrible fan the live production is AMAZING. 10th Ave Theater. It runs through the 30th. Go! @IWant2SingAlong #drhorribleSD"
-Zack Whedon, twitter.com/@ZDubDub.

||Re: Dr. Horrible live...it says it's kid friendly, so why must you be 13 years old to see the show? My 10 year old loves it and I was going to bring her :(|
||Hi there, Thanks for asking, There are PLENTY of younger Dr. Horrible fans out there, and we welcome them, however there are some parents who are concerned by some of the language, specifically probably one of the funniest lines in the show ("the hammer is my penis...") so for those parents, we have stated the SUGGESTED minimum age... but be assured, I expect your daughter will not be the only person under 13 coming to the show.|
||Hi, I am not interested in a combo ticket..just want to see Dr. Horrible..how can I buy a regular ticket for just that show?|
||You can purchase tickets for Dr. Horrible Only on any performance date EXCEPT for July 17th Opening night. If you'd like to see just the one show, you may select any other available performance date. Online advance sales are $30. Hope that answers your question! thanks!|
||Hi! Will tickets be available at the door?|
||Tickets will be avalable at the door for $35 a ticket. As we expect demand during Comic Con Week to be high, we encourage getting tickets in advance! |
||The names of the attendees that I was required to submit are not on the tickets, and instead they only say the purchaser's name, and the purchaser is not attending. So whose ID will need to be shown at the door?|
||The attendee Names we should have on file, so we should still be able to verify your tickets if they match.|
||How do we sign up for the ticket lottery?|
