Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog LIVE
The FAN DRIVEN adaptation from Chinese Pirate Productions, of the 2008 Award Winning web series by Maurissa Tancharoen, Zack, Jed, and Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity, Firefly) Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog -LIVE- offers a whole new way to experience this smart and funny "trage-comedy."

With over 3000 fans on Facebook, Chinese Pirate Productions' fan adaptation of Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog has made quite a splash!

"As soon as it was over my first and immediate thought was, "I want to see that again."
-Chriss Cornish, http://conventionfansblog.com/

"This cast is very talented... and doesn't get lost in the large shadows cast by the originators of their roles"
-Erin Reiter, San Diego Theater Examiner

"...while the core of the show mostly intact, it's the touches on the margins that give it some extra spark..."
-Arturo R. Garcia, geekypleasures.com

"[Brian Hammond's]  live musical score... [had] a feeling akin to hearing the orchestra at the Pantages, but downsize that number to four members and up the intimacy by tenfold.
-JR Cajigas, http://nerdreactor.com

"This one's a little too fun to ignore... director Andy Lowe's... eye-catching show...features a hard-rocking band, excellent tech effects and a savvy young cast..."
-James Hebert, San Diego Union Tribune/http://www.signonsandiego.com

------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Horrible, an aspiring supervillain with his own video blog, is attempting to join the prestigious Evil League of Evil (led by the legendary "thoroughbred of sin", Bad Horse), but his plans are usually foiled by the egotistical superhero Captain Hammer. Horrible's life is thrown for a loop when he falls in love with Penny, a beautiful and optimistic advocate for the homeless he meets at the laundromat, a situation which complicates itself even further when Penny begins dating the boorish, oafish Hammer after he apparently saves her life. Faced with the task of impressing the League, can Horrible overcome his own incompetence to ruin the day, kill the hero, and still get the girl?

Co-writer/creator Zack Whedon (Deadwood) tweeted:
"If you are a dr horrible fan the live production is AMAZING. 10th Ave Theater. It runs through the 30th. Go! @IWant2SingAlong #drhorribleSD"
-Zack Whedon, twitter.com/@ZDubDub.
