Join the International Equine Body Worker Association (IEBWA) for the GROWING YOUR BUSINESS FOR SUCCESS seminar on June 14, 2015 at Flying Cloud Farm in Petaluma, CA. Growing Your Business for Success Instructor: Whitney Hischier, Lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business This one-day seminar geared toward canine and equine bodyworkers will focus on marketing tools and growth strategies to take your business to the next level. Detailed exercises and templates will ensure participants leave with tangible takeaways and a plan for moving forward. About the Instructor Whitney Hischier is a faculty director for executive education and lecturer at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She teaches management, strategy, consulting skills and leadership to MBAs, undergraduates and executives. Prior to Haas, she worked as a consultant for KPMG, ABN Amro Barnk, and Deloitte in the US and Europe.
Whitney is passionate about growing small businesses, and has expanded her executive education unit at UC Berkeley from a $2m to a $17m business during her tenure; she advises clients and students on best practices in the space. An avid horseback rider since childhood, Whitney competes her Hanoverian mare, Larke, in dressage. She taught riding for many years and currently trains in Equine Guided Education, allowing her to bring the work to her clients and staff. Whitney holds an MBA with a certificate in healthcare from UC Berkeley and a BA from Stanford.
