Barrie Junior Roller Derby Summer session
Barrie Junior Roller Derby is a Non-Contact program open to girls and boys ages 7 to 18 years. Using the rules borrowed from our big sister league, the South Simcoe Rebel Rollers.
The Barrie Junior Roller skating program offers a chance for youth to become the future stars and officials of the track! We promote healthy learning and encourage personal development in a sport that is not only fun and competitive but encourages healthy active lives throughout any age.
Summer Program session starts on Tuesday June 2 until Tuesday August 25th (no session on Tuesday August 11th). The cost for the summer program is $75, and the cost for Junior Insurance to be filled out separately and paid directly to CRDi (Canadian Roller Derby Insurance) and is required to participate in our Junior skating program.

Levels
BEGINNERS
12 sessions - $75(plus Junior insurance)
Sessions are on Tuesday nights from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Equipment(Kit)is required.(see below)Testing is included.
This training is geared for beginner to junior skill level roller skater. We teach the basics of skating & introduce the basics of Jr Roller Derby. Quad roller skates
knee pads
elbow pads
wrist guards
a helmet(we recommend the S1 Helmets)
mouth guard and a positive attitude.
