An evening with blues legends "Pinetop Perkins" and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith
We are saddened by the very recent passing of "Pinetop" Perkins,age 97, who was to perform here with Willie Smith, former band mates of the legendary Muddy Waters. Willie and his bandmates will be here to honor Pinetop, performing Saturday, april 30th 2011 at Mukilteo Coffee Roasters in the "Juke Room" from 7pm to 9:30pm. This is a special engagement for Whidbey Island to have these Blues legends perform. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Also on the bill is Gary "suitcase" Smith and Guitar legend "Allen Kaatz" opening the show at 6:30pm. Great food,beers,and fine wine will be available for purchase along with coffee, espresso, and non-alcohol choices. Bring a Folding Chair!!!
