Puppets' Night Out! Kelly Campbell of KC Puppetree and Robert Randall star in "TRASHANALIA!"
SATURDAY, MARCH 21st, 6PM, Puppet Central at Atelier Gallery is delighted to present the talented and versatile Kelly Campbell and Robert Randall at this week's Puppets' Night Out. Together Robert and Kelly present their wonderfully whimsical show, "TRASHANALIA!"
It's Trashanalia Day and the inhabitants of Trash Island are celebrating. Join King Neptune and a slew of puppet creatures including Felix the Hermit Crab, Charleston Turtle, and Scrappy the Seagull. Original songs written by Robert Randall (of Trashman and the Noise Band) accompany puppet characters created by Kelly Campbell made entirely out of re-used and recycled items. Sing along and help figure out the question of the day: "Where is away anyway?"
"Puppets' Night Out!" is a Saturday night, family-friendly puppet series hosted by Puppet Central at Atelier Gallery in St Johns, Portland, Oregon.
"Puppets' Night Out" shows feature local Portland and Vancouver performers; they begin at 6PM, and are usually followed by a puppet craft or activity.
Regular performers include Kelly Campbell of KCPuppetree (www.kcpuppetree.com), Jason Ropp of Dragon Theater Puppets (www.dragontheater.com), Brittany Moering of Britt and The Wily Wayfarers, Amy Gray of ZING Productions and Shae Uisna of Shae Uisna Puppets (www.ateliergallery.com).
