Gigantic Bicycle Festival
Gigantic Bicycle Festival is the Pacific Northwest's annual summer celebration of bicycle culture. The three day, mid-August festival features a diverse, multifaceted and regionally representative mix of live music, hand-built bicycles, visual & performance art, film, comedy, guest speakers, sculpture, interactive installation, NW makers, brews, and camping.
Many festival goers arrive at the grounds via bicycle along supported (and highly praised) century and 77 mile bike rides. Riders depart from Seattle's Magnuson Park early Saturday morning, to arrive at the festival grounds that afternoon. Rider registration includes a weekend festival pass.
Monthly art installations and film screenings begin in April, presenting previews to August and taking over venues and gallery spaces across Washington and Oregon.
