3 Twins

As subdudes' John Magnie, Steve Amedee's and Tim Cooks alter ego, 3 Twins is known for its fun-loving combination of roots and Americana, as well as the trios phenomenal annual dance parties. Add some amazing guitar licks by Jay Clear, soul shaking vocals by Nicole Zentveld, and the 12 Cents for Marvin horn section and you've got yourself one big party on stage.

The group got its start after the subdudes split up in 1994 but has continued on even after the band reunited in 2002. While the groups members are originally from the south, they made Fort Collins their home in the late 80s. John Magnie said of the town: "Fort Collins is a really sweet little place. You got enough people, you got a college, some places to play, its right on the mountains... For the Louisiana boys... it was just kind of a liberating feeling, like, Youre going to the West. Its still got sort of a, you can do anything you want to do feeling, you know? Almost a pioneer bit of a feel, where we felt like we could make it and it did help us to solidify our music."
