Four world-class professionals - who also happen to be some of our favorite Austin Symphony Orchestra players - make up the Artisan Quartet. The Artisan four includes Richard Kilmer and Paula E. Bird, violins, Bruce Williams ,viola, and Douglas Harvey, cello, and as principal players in the ASO and other organizations in central Texas, they bring a wealth of experience and variety to their finely crafted music-making. Special guest Ames Asbell, principal violist of the Austin Lyric Opera and member of the sensual Tosca Quartet, will join the group for this memorable evening as the ensemble performs Mozart's String Quintet in C Major, K. 515, and Tchaikovsky's String Quartet, op. 11, "The Accordian."
