HATRIOT
Steve Zetro Souza has once again stepped into the thrash metal world, and has made an immediate impact on the thrash metal scene. The veteran metal singer from such proven bands, i.e., Exodus, Legacy (Testament), Dublin Death Patrol, Tenet, AC/DZ and now with his newest band Hatirot takes his musical roots back in time to the 1980's when metal was fast, furious, yet still melodic. Still from the Bay Area (which happens to be the evolutionary birthplace of thrash metal) is what sets Hatriot apart from today's metal world. Not many bands have been able to establish themselves as contenders in this genre since the biggest bands emerged from this time period, but few bands have the musical direction of Steve Zetro Souza, who have been there and done it with global success.
Steve Zetro Souza has a vocal style that few sings possess. He has the power and sting, yet at the same time, his fans can understand what lyric's he's actually singing. Not many singers in thrash metal can give you that. Most of all, Zetro delivers! He has his own style that has made him one of the premier singers in all of metal. As when he was with Legacy (now Testament), Steve Zetro Souza writes all of his own twisted lyrics, and with the help of his young guitar wizard, Kosta "V", the two of them collaborate to bring you the music of Hatriot. Few bands can be fast, loud, powerful and ferocious, while staying musical, melodical and crushing. Hatriot gives you that, along with the pure intensity of a hungry band that wants nothing more than to tour and play live music to fans.
Hatriot, never satisfied with the newer trends in the metal scene, has re-discovered that going back in time, making quality "old school" metal with a proven formula that only Steve Zetro Souza could form and re-invent for this modern era, has put together a band who understands this direction, has perfect chemistry and hits the stage light a freight train! Hatriot, faster than you'll ever live to be!!!
In 2010 Hatriot Released Their Self-Released, Self Titled, Acclaimed EP:
1) The Fear Within
2) Weapons Of Class Destruction
3) Globacidal
4) The Mechanics Of Annihilation
Already, the band has earned worldwide respect having supported Testament and Forbidden. While only playing three live shows, Hatriot has broken out of the Bay Area metal scene with a vengeance. The band is currently receiving a lot of record label attention. They have written enough strong material to release a debut album that will crush and elevate them to the next level.
You've wanted something new and you've wanted something heavy. Look out! Hatriot will hit the road and destroy a city near you very soon. Impact is Imminent!!!

CULTURAL WARFARE
Cultural Warfare is based on the concept of not being classified, labeled or catagorized in any sub genre of the METAL scene. With members born thousands of miles apart yet raised in the Bay Area and having strong ties to the historic Thrash Metal scene spawned by powerhouse bands such as Testament,Exodus,Forbidden,Death Angel,Vio-lence,D.R.I. and countless others. Our mission statement is to continue what these great bands have started with our own unique blend of style and influences from Machine Head,Napalm Death,Arch Enemy,Slayer etc. With shredding guitars, thunderous machinegun percussions, dragline bass rippage infused with with sociopolitical commentary ranging from serial killers to black market organ trading. We seek to establish the fact that NO MATTER what style of of METAL you play, listen to, or was influneced by...the ROOT of it all IS METAL! And that is all Cultural Warfare strives to be. A kickass, no holds barred, smashmouth METAL BAND!!!\m/
THE VENTING MACHINE
Gathered from the eclectic divergences of San Jose CA, Tracy CA, Houston TX, and Guatemala, TVM formed in the central valley of California in 2001 to ultimately become one of the most powerful and long-running local metal bands in the San Francisco bay area. Proud to call the birth place of thrash metal their home, The Venting Machine is a combined and brutal force of double bass-drumming assaults, dizzying guitar riffs, shredding bass, and haunting vocals that when combined, can either lull you into a placid sleep or scream you into insanity. Brady Hoover (vocals), Jeremy Von Epp (guitar, backing vocals), Luis Barillas (bass) and Joe Tobin (drums) have created a meticulously and precisely-crafted blend of thrash, death and black metal, but with an added element of groove and rock choruses that result in the compulsion to bob your head along with the songs. If you are within ear shot, you will ultimately be compelled into a neck groove, and that is what sets this band apart those undeniably contagious, slaughtering grooves that will make any audience give they're full attention. For over a decade, their sound has been established, the following has gathered and the live shows have been derived. The addiction of the masses has been fed with "The Diablo Demo" (2004), "A Death To Your Scene" (2007) and "Six Of Cups" (2010), all mastered by Tim Narducci (Systematic/Spiral arms). Each album kept bringing the onslaught of rib-crunching thrash and each one shattered the expectations of the previous work. Their latest album, "Ritual Burdens" (2013), is perhaps their most mature release to date, and as vocalist Brady Hoover describes it: "it is about the burdens that life brings, sometimes on a daily, almost ritualistic, basis," he explains. "Every one of us has our own burdens that we face while on this planet." But despite its ominous and prophetic sound, "Ritual" does not deter or frighten its listener, but instead creates a sense of brotherhood and visceral passion with its musicianship and lyrical content. Every out- caster, misfit or dissident can hear a message of living life to the fullest without guilt of any kind. It urges us to take a stand against and attack the burdens in our personal life, and finally overcome the shackles of guilt, immobility and fear. Nearing a 13-year journey so far, The Machine has gained notoriety from domestic as well as international acts, playing alongside the likes of Chimaira, Divine Heresy, Dublin Death Patrol, Systematic, Prong, Flaw and the other countless bay area bands that have come through the scene. Their tireless work ethic, talent and experience has made TVM respected and admired by both peers and fans alike, making this group of musicians feel more like old friends than just another local band. The Venting Machine's dynamic and powerful music and live shows create a comforting sense of respite from an external world bombarded by pop culture and pop music. It acts as a vessel of honesty and hope, creating a personal space of comfort and empathy in those who choose to hear it. A true venting machine.
