Musica Pacifica - Brandenburgs and More
Two of Bach's beloved Brandenburg Concertos--#4 featuring solo violin and 2 recorders; and #5 featuring harpsichord, flute, and violin--as well as Telemann's concerto for flute and recorder, string concertos by Vivaldi and an unusual double concerto for recorder, violin, and strings by Johann Gottlieb Graun.
Concerto soloists are: Musica Pacifica: Judith Linsenberg, recorder; Elizabeth Blumenstock, violin; Charles Sherman, harpsichord; and guest artists Stephen Schultz, flute; Frances Blaker, recorder; Lisa Weiss and Anthony Martin, violins; David Wilson, viola;
Gretchen Claassen, 'cello; and Farley Pearce, violone.
