Bellingham's Second Annual Lumber and Lace Ball to Benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation
Bellingham's Second Annual Lumber and Lace Ball to Benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation will be held at the Majestic on North Forest St. on Saturday, February 21nd.
Last years event was a downright hootenanny! Ask anyone who attended, they had a down right boot-stomping good time! This year we will have live music by the Tall Boys Country Band, Rattletrap Ruckus and DJ Kitchensink. Enjoy a variety of drinks and lite appetizers (including beer from Kulshan and Boundary Bay and Schillings Hard Cider!), old-timey hair do's by Toni and Guy Hair Academy, a silent auction, dance instruction, professional real old-fashion photos, and whole lot more!
The event aims to celebrate Whatcom County and Bellingham's history. The Lumber and Lace Ball wants to recognize the early 1900's loggers and their women who helped to establish our little gem in the northwest corner. Formal Attire is requested and bonus points for incorporating your grandma's vintage lace dress and your grandpa's woolies!
Doors open at 6:00 for the Toni and Guy Hair Academy to begin their hair-do's and live music begins at 7:00.
Tickets are on sale now at http://lumberandlace.brownpapertickets.com/
And remember, buy your tickets early because all presale tickets receive a free drink token!
This is a 21+ event!

The Lumber and Lace Ball is being organized by a group of active community member's who believe the assistance provided by Hospice is invaluable and poorly understood by Whatcom County's younger generation.
All revenues from the Ball will be donated to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation. Although the Lumber and Lace Ball is not an official Foundation event, the Foundation has been very supportive of our efforts. Whatcom Hospice provides our community with compassionate end-of-life medical care and support services to terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice never denies any patient services because of an inability to pay. Many people who have never had the need for Hospice services are unaware of the invaluable support they offer. And, what better way to celebrate life than to get all dressed up with your friends and dance the night away!?
The Lumber and Lace Ball is not officially sponsored by the Whatcom Hospice Foundation, and the Foundation assumes no responsibility or liability of any kind for any aspect of this event.
