The Alberta Children's Choir (North) comprises some of the finest young choristers in northern Alberta. This concert represents the culmination of the choir's 3-day residency in Edmonton under the direction of Sanna Valvanne (New York City). Ms. Valvanne has constructed the concert program drawing on her Finnish heritage with a series of Scandinavian folksongs at the core; the program is rounded out with a variety of music from Africa and North America.
The Alberta Children's Choir is pleased to welcome Cantilon Children's Choir as special guest for the concert.
