Thistle Theatre is dedicated to creating unique and diverse puppet theatre productions for the entire family. We offer a season of puppet theatre for families and daytime shows for schools, daycares and homeschoolers. We perform at Magnuson Park Theatre in NE Seattle, Sunset Hill Community Club in Ballard and Bellevue Youth Theatre. We are the only puppet theatre in the Pacific Northwest that specializes in a tabletop variation of Bunraku, an ancient style of puppetry from Japan. Enjoy watching creative hand-crafted puppets come to life in original productions and adaptations of folk tales from around the world.
