New City Galerie

NEW CITY GALERIE is a hospitable space for the arts in the center of downtown Burlington, located at 132 Church Street on the south end of the Church Street Marketplace, across from Burlington City Arts%u2019 Firehouse Gallery (above Ake%u2019s Place). Our gallery space hosts new art exhibits every two months, with a focus on connecting emerging Vermont artists with emerging patrons of the arts. Through our six month residency program, New City supports two resident artists in large windowed studios that overlook Church Street and Mechanics Alley, respectively. New City regularly hosts intimate, limited seating concerts as well as film screenings, poetry/prose readings and various workshops taught by local artists and musicians.
