A free two day Jazz Festival in the heart of downtown East Lansing, featuring 14 hours of the best in local, regional and national talent. The SSJF also features a traditional New Orleans-style Second Line Parade, an avant garde jazz picnic, and fun children%u2019s activities. Presented by the city of East Lansing, Wharton Center for the Performing Arts and the Michigan State University College of Music, with artistic direction by Rodney Whitaker.
