True Story Theater is a nonprofit theater company that performs and teaches a style of improvisational theater called Playback Theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot by our trained actors.
True Story Theater offers over 80 improvisational performances and workshops a year for community groups, businesses, and individuals. We work with hospitals, universities, corporations, local governments, religious communities for teen leaders, cancer survivors, activists, philanthropists, business leaders as well as for life celebrations, transitions and other important private events.
