Burbank Coordinating CouncilBurbank, CA
Burbank Coordinating Council began in 1933, and is made up of volunteers from City offices, schools and PTAs, churches, non profit agencies, service organizations and interested individuals and families. We have been responsible for creating many community programs through the years and each has thrived and been fielded out to continue through other avenues in the city.
There are other programs and projects, but Burbank Coordinating Council still maintains two of the largest programs and administers them annually using donations from public and private sectors:
Holiday Baskets.we serve over 500 families each year which translates to over 2,000 people from low income families to be sure they receive food and gifts to brighten their holidays. Camperships.we provide camp scholarships for children to provide needed respite for those in low income or at risk homes. |
