6th Annual Philadelphia Alternative Taxidermy Competition
Please join us for a wonder filled evening of taxidermy show and tell, presented by Diamond Tooth Taxidermy and hosted by Philadelphia's premier couture taxidermist Beth Beverly. This year's competition will be once again be held at The Ruba Club in Northern Liberties, on Saturday October 19th at 7pm. We will feature competitors of all skill levels displaying and discussing their taxidermy pieces, be they created, collected, or altered.
Our illustrious panel of judges will include:
John Whitenight- artist, author and renown collector of antique taxidermy and Victoriana.
Alexandra Fische-Tattooer Extraordinaire, Animal advocate & volunteer Chihuahua mama, Oddities collector & Amateur taxidermist.
Jason Chen- Photographer and CoFounder of Paradigm Gallery + Studio and Juggling Wolf.
Come hungry! Jen Zavala will once again be slinging tasty tacos on the first floor!
PRIZES!
-Once again we have robust gift certificates provided by McKenzie Taxidermy Supply to be awarded to the top three places!
-Gift certificates for Continuing Education courses at University of the Arts!
-$100 to spend at The Strange & Unusual shop!

This event is 21 plus. (18 plus for competitors, email diamondtoothtaxidermist@gmail.com to submit your work for consideration.)
Also brace yourself for a once in a lifetime presentation of never before exhibited EXTINCT AVIAN TAXIDERMY SPECIMEN brought to you by the one and only John Whiteknight!
Attendees are encouraged to dress in furred or feathered finery, or in full costume for the Halloween season if desired.
