Ballard Elks 5th Annual Frock Swap
NOTE: These tickets are VIP Admission only and limited to the 100 ticket sales. General Admission will be available at the door, the day of event, no limit.
It's time to start cleaning out your closets and refreshing your wardrobe again, ladies! We are holding our 5th Annual Frock Swap - A women's clothing exchange, at the Ballard Elks on October 13th benefiting Jubilee Women's Center, a local non-profit which supports women in need to build stable and fulfilling futures.
Last year we donated over $12,000 to programs supporting women in need and a truckload of the leftover clothing for their clients. And all the women who came to shop, went home with lots of great new clothing for their wardrobes.
Drop-off period is September 9th - October 9th at the Ballard Elks Lodge (upstairs).
We will accept consignment-quality women's clothing, shoes and accessories in good condition. Only bring items that you would be proud to pass on. If you wouldn't lend it to a friend, don't bring it!
Sorry - No lingerie, swimwear, socks, men's or children's clothing. No stained or torn items, please.
Be sure to sign the drop-off roster so you can get your discounted General Admission!
NOTE: No drop-offs will be accepted after Oct. 9th. Please do not bring your items to be swapped on the day of the event. We will not be able to accept them and you will not get the discounted admission.
Admission:
$60 VIP Admission: (Non-refundable pre-purchase available below or at door on day of event if not sold out.)
Includes:
45 minute early admission to event
1 Free drink token
Notes: VIP admission is same price with or without clothing drop-off - it's for charity, folks.
General Admission: (Available at the Door on October 13th)
$20 with clothing drop off (be sure to sign the roster when you drop-off your clothing items!)
$40 without clothing drop off,
After you pay the event admission, you "shop" for free! (Clothing is not priced/no additional charge) There is no limit to what you can take home, but we ask that your are respectful to other shoppers and take only what YOU are able to wear. We encourage you to try things on; there will be a changing area available.
*Items are for personal use and not for resale. We reserve the right to ask you to limit amounts you take and/or leave the event, if we feel this policy is being abused.
Clothing left over at the end of the event will be going to Jubilee Women's Center and other charitable organizations which support women in need.
We'll also be holding a raffle and a silent auction for gift certificates and items donated by local businesses.
