Tessman Planetarium: Santa Ana College
The main show, Discover the Solar System, is about 1.5 hours. It begins with a star projector presentation, which gives an excellent simulation of the night sky. Youll see what is currently in the sky on the date of your show. Students will view the planets, discuss the best constellations for each season, and learn about other items of their interest. The group will take a journey through the solar system, using our hi-resolution projectors. The show is interactive with discussions and questions will be answered. The show is modified to adapt to all levels of understanding.
Next Generation Science Standards are covered and includes a discussion on various physical science concepts such as gravity, rotation and revolution of the planets, the composition of the planets, and the major NASA mission and what weve learned from them. The shows provide current information with the latest discoveries.
If you are using Valiant funds please select the FREE ticket and place your order in VOS within 48 hours.
Ticket orders must be placed in Brown Paper Tickets before placing the request in VOS. A confirmation number is needed in the VOS order description.

Please remember the chaperone policy:
1 enrolled student in your family attending the trip = 1 total chaperone ticket paid by funds.
2+ enrolled students in your family attending the trip = 2 total chaperone tickets paid by funds.
**Please know that you will not receive physical tickets for these events as you will be required to check in the day of at the venue with our staff member hosting it.**
**Please know that ALL field trips are final sale and cannot be refunded.**
