A modern-day Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story brings loyalty, prejudice and love to the
musical stage in what has been called one of the finest musical books ever written. In the
changing landscape of the Upper West Side, rival gangs battle for turf supremacy while two
idealistic teens fall in love. Caught between the Jets and the Sharks, Maria and Tony must
navigate the expectations of their friends and family while trying to hold on to their dream of
