Big Joy Barber & Salon are excited to host Emily Costello this March here in Vancouver! This event marks the beginning of a series of select classes and educational seminars we will be hosting as a part of our commitment to genuine, adventurous and quality hair education in our city and industry. Our goal is to host some of the most talented and creative hairdressers and barbers from across the world here in town in a refreshing, affordable and laid back environment where learning is front and centre.

Emily Costello is the owner of Cultivate X in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With just 9 years in the industry, Emily has undergone extensive training with companies such as Aveda, Bumble & Bumble, and Sassoon. They specialize in haircutting, with a firm belief that a strong foundation and understanding of each client's lifestyle will provide the best customized look for them. When Emily is not at X, it's because they're traveling the country working as an independent educator for X (EDU X) , while sharing knowledge and the appreciation of their craft.

This look & learn class will be a demonstration of haircuts + refinement on 2 live demo models. Technique, craft, and creativity will be discussed. Time frame is approx. 4 hours, snacks and refreshments will be served. Please be sure to arrive at least 15 mins before the start time.
