Two of Ireland's premier entertainers, Tom Comerford and Declan Aungier, join forces for one night only, in Canton, Massachusetts, sharing warm and wonderful songs, tunes and stories from the Emerald Isle.
Tom Comerford was a founding member of The Whole Shabang, one of the most successful, hard-working and respected Irish bands on the North American scene through the 1990s. Since 1999 he has continued to work as a full-time entertainer, in a solo capacity, and this allows him a certain amount of flexibility. Whether entertaining a group of visitors to Ireland, performing at a corporate event, or flying high at a festival, youre going to experience Tom in his natural habitat. Recording has remained a priority with Tom, and 2015 saw the proud release of his most recent work "Under Cover."
No stranger to touring, Tom still takes to the road with enthusiasm, entertaining not just in Ireland, but throughout the UK, Europe and America. Youll also find him appearing with Andy Cooney, Ronan Tynan and more, on the annual Cruise of Irish Stars.

Declan Aungier began studying the Piano Accordion at the age of 9, but admits that his love for the instrument actually stems back to his early childhood. He became interested in Irish/Scottish Traditional music at age 13 and became All-Ireland Under 18 Piano Accordion Champion in 1987. Declan became a professional musician in 1991 and embarked on a career that has taken him all over the world. In 1997, he switched from the Piano Accordion to the 5-Row Button box, which is the instrument he plays today. In 2007, Declan recorded a tribute to the late Dermot O'Brien. In February 2008 his song was awarded "Single of the Year" at the 102FM County & Folk Entertainment Awards.
Declan works exclusively as a solo entertainer, playing almost 300 performances a year, providing music ranging from Country and Irish, some Irish Traditional music and music from present day. Equally skilled on keyboards, piano and guitar, Declan has toured abroad from Europe to the Caribbean in conjunction with Enjoy Travel and Andy Cooney, bringing his music to a worldwide audience.

Bridgets - An Irish Tradition is delighted to host An Irish Evening with Tom Comerford and Declan Aungier, for one evening only on January 28, 2018, in the beautiful ballroom of the Irish Cultural Centre of New England, 200 New Boston Drive, Canton, Massachusetts. Ticket price includes Afternoon Tea (featuring tea, coffee and Bridget's Famous Irish Bread) at intermission. Cash bar prior to concert and during intermission.
