Belvidere High School Drama Club presents...
"Peter/Wendy" by Jeremy Bloom
In this re-imagined stage version of J.M. Barrie's famous story "Peter and Wendy", playwright Jeremy Bloom adapts the original words, highlighting themes of imagination, friendship, and magic. While light on fancy sets or costumes, this intimate presentation connects the performers with the audience as we follow Wendy's journey to Neverland and her adventures with Peter Pan, fairies, pirates, and lost boys!
This performance is appropriate for all ages; just be sure not to expect the musical or Disney version! There are two acts that run roughly over one hour with a 15 minute intermission.
Seating will be different for this production - only 50 seats will be available for each performance and all seating will be in chairs on the stage. Unlike our other performances, there will not be assigned seating, and you will be able to choose where you sit on the stage.
Think your happiest thoughts and meet us just past the second star to the right and straight on 'til morning!
Performances are:
Thursday, November 16th at 7PM
Friday, November 17th at 7PM
Saturday, November 18th at 1PM and 7PM
Tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 for Senior Citizens and Students.
