The 14th Annual Barbara Bull Memorial Sebastopol Cemetery Walk
Friday & Saturday nights
October 7 & 8, 2016
Each of the four evening seatings begin with a light supper, held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church located at 500 Robinson Road (off of Bodega Avenue) in Sebastopol. There is plenty of event parking available at the church. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your show time and queue up outside the dining room.
After supper, your group will be led to the Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Cemetery by a tour guide in "period attire" accompanied by the music of the ever popular Hubbub Club Street Band.
At the cemetery, your tour guide will lead you along the luminary-lit route to the gravesites of former Sebastopol residents. This years vignettes are:
George H. Ayer - Sailor, miner, farmer and friend of Mark Twain
Benjamin Franklin Tilton - A simple farmer in life who created controversy in death
Matilda & Frederick Williamson - Producers of fruits, vegetables, and nine children
Joseph Morris - Founder of Sebastopol
A "To Be Determined" vignette AND,
Asian burial sites revealed
Following your cemetery tour, you will be seated for dessert in the historic Burbank Gold Ridge Farm Cottage for home-made apple crisp, tea and coffee. After dessert, your tour guide will lead you back to your car in the church parking lot.
Plan on spending two hours with us. Warm clothing (think layers) and comfortable shoes are advised. PLEASE bring a small flashlight.
NOTE: The cemetery is riddled with gopher holes, so is a bit tricky to navigate in the daytime. Consider that if you have mobility issues, this may prove especially challenging in the dark.
Tickets: $35 per person
Seatings for each evening are available at 5:30 pm, 6:15pm, 7:00pm & 7:45pm
