Composting Livestock Manure Workshop and Land Stewardship Tour
Join local horse keepers as they share their easy, effective 3-bin composting system and show you how it works in real life. Talk to knowledgeable resource providers. Take a guided tour of their land to see how rotational grazing keeps their pasture green and thriving -- and discover smart, practical strategies for reducing mud and runoff, such as utilizing a livestock confinement area, maintaining a livestock trails, and planting along streambanks . Whether you're new to livestock manure composting or looking to improve your setup, this is an opportunity to learn from your local community.
