18th Annual Evening of Alum Rock Jazz
The Alum Rock Jazz Foundation, the Alum Rock Jazz Program, the Alum Rock Union School District, and San Jose Jazz present a fundraiser featuring the Alum Rock Jazz Band, now celebrating its 50th anniversary. Also included will be a special performance by Full Spectrum Jazz Band, a full 18 piece big band that is one of the mainstays of the Bay Area jazz scene. Trumpet great Wayne Bergeron has praised Full Spectrum, noting, clever new arrangements, fine soloist and tight ensemble playing, the Full Spectrum Jazz Orchestra has a sound of its own. Additional events will include a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and food and beverages. Please join us on Saturday, June 1st from 6:00-8:30 PM at the Mt. Pleasant High School Theater at 1750 S. White Rd. in San Jose as we help support the great music students in the Alum Rock School District! Tickets are $30.
