"We've Only Just Burgundy, Or: I Get Bywater With a Little Help From My Friends" is a hilarious new musical comedy celebrating the people and satirizing life in the riverside neighborhoods of New Orleans. A group of neighbors gather on their porch steps to pass the time during a power outage, while they educate a visitor on the ups and downs of life in their hood through songs and sketches.
Written by Spike Kunetz, a playwright and long-time teacher of comedy at Chicago's famed Second City Training Center. Music by Kristen Brooks. Directed by Garett Prejean.
