Our Town
ONLINE SALES HAVE ENDED. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. "Our Town" is a three-act play created by American playwright and Hamden's own Thornton Wilder in 1938. Described by Edward Albee as "the greatest American play ever written", it presents the fictional American town of Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens. Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" could easily be about olde Hamden. The words bring back visions of what Spring Glen looked like in 1901. The story of growing up, living and dying is the story of each of us. This is as much a local production as any show could be.
