12th Annual San Diego International Dragon Boat Race
Don't miss out on the great competition in "America's Finest City" set for Sept. 30 - Oct. 1 at Tecolote Shores Mission Bay.
Dragon boating is a growing, global sport with crews of 16-20 paddling in a boat decorated with an ornately carved dragon head at the bow and a tail in the stern. During races, boats consist of a crew, drummer and steersperson.
Attend this exciting event as a spectator or join the fun by creating a team with your friends and co-workers.
Competitive divisions are Mixed, Women and Open divisions. Corporate division welcomes paddlers who are new to dragon boat paddling or just paddle seasonally. Form a crew to compete for bragging rights in this ultimate team sport! Cancer survivors Cancer survivors are welcomed to register crews for competition in the Women's Cancer Survivor Division (ABS/BCS) and Mixed Cancer Survivor Division (ABS/BCS).
