Upwelling: the next iteration
Upwelling is an ocean-inspired dance performance featuring original work by Amelia Nommensen in collaboration with dancers Annalise Constantz, Abigail Hinson, and Erica Stivison. Join us for a dive into the alluring mysteries of the ocean and the interconnected web of an ecosystem. Weaving modern dance, film, blue/green lighting, and an original underwater sound score, step inside this unforgettable immersive experience. Amelia Nommensen's new work explores sloshing, fluid edges, horizons, and strength of the feminine forces. Allow the visual and auditory journey to leave your heart full of wonder and with the impulse to save our seas.

For audiences of all ages. The performance is viewer friendly, providing a calm place to settle in. It is also kid friendly with room for play, encouraging those who need to get up and move about during the performance. The space provides flexibility for your enjoyment.
Street parking available. Additional parking available in Hester School lot off of Lenzen Ave nearby. Public Transit can be accessed through CalTrain.
