2022 MORRISTOWN FESTIVAL OF BOOKS WELCOMES JAMES PATTERSON Worlds best-selling author will headline the Main Festival Closing Event
The Morristown Festival of Books, New Jersey's premier book festival, is thrilled to welcome James Patterson, the world's best-selling author! Patterson's appearance at the exciting Closing Event will cap off a full day of author events on Saturday, October 8th, in downtown Morristown, NJ.
Patterson, who has sold over 300 million books worldwide, will be joined in conversation with Carol Fitzgerald of The Book Report Network. This session will also feature an audience Q&A.
Each $50 event ticket includes a copy of Patterson's newest hardcover thriller, Blowback. This special event takes place on Saturday, October 8th, at 5:15 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 70 Maple Avenue (the front door is on South Street), Morristown, NJ 07960.
About Morristown Festival of Books The all-day, free main festival on Saturday, October 8th, offers something for everyone, featuring more than 60 award-winning fiction, nonfiction, cooking, sports, young adult, and children's authors. The authors will speak and answer questions at five locales, all within walking distance of each other along South Street in historic Morristown, including St. Peters Church Sanctuary and Parish House, The Presbyterian Church Parish House, The Church of the Redeemer, and the Morristown/Morris Township Library. About James Patterson James Patterson is the worlds best-selling author. His enduring fictional characters and series include Alex Cross, Women's Murder Club, Michael Bennett, and NYPD Red mysteries along with such acclaimed works of narrative nonfiction as Walk in My Combat Boots, E.R. Nurses, and his autobiography, James Patterson by James Patterson. Bill Clinton (The President Is Missing) and Dolly Parton (Run, Rose, Run) are among his notable literary collaborators. For his prodigious imagination and championship of literacy in America, Patterson was awarded the 2019 National Humanities Medal. The National Book Foundation presented him with the Literarian Award for Outstanding Service to the American Literary Community, and he is also the recipient of an Edgar Award and nine Emmy Awards. He lives in Florida with his family.
