Gassaku: Ramen Pop-Up

The Gassaku Project translates to shared work. This fundraiser is a collaboration between Nueva School of the Arts and Vineyard Academy of Hospitality of Windsor High School. Both programs are California Partnership Academies, where collaboration is a foundational premise. The "Gassaku Project" is offering our community an opportunity to "taste" the labors of our shared work.

The Gassaku Project will be sharing our first collaboration with the community in the form of a drive-through Ramen Pop up located at the circle, in front of Windsor High School. Tickets for the Ramen dinner, featuring a slow-cooked Chintan broth (traditional Chinese Chicken Broth) and fresh artisan noodles, may be pre-purchased here at Brown Paper Tickets online for the event scheduled for Friday, November 6th from 4-7 PM. Vegetarian Miso Broth without Pork Option is available upon request

Our Goal: To connect students with resources and social capital that will help them define a path to academic success. Proceeds will go towards providing equity and access to underserved students. These students often include foster youth, homeless, English language learners, special needs students, first-generation high school students, and underrepresented minorities.

Gassaku represents the shared work necessary to prepare and serve food to our community while providing students the necessary tools for academic success.

With all classes being held online, students need to use consumable ingredients and materials in their homes and we hope to ensure students are equitably supplied with the tools they need to be successful in their classes.

All safety protocols for COVID awareness will be adhered to. We will abide by the social distance and Personal Protective Devices recommendations as advised by the Sonoma County Department of Health
