Master abstract expressionist Mark Rothko has just landed the biggest commission in the history of modern art, a series of murals for New Yorks famed Four Seasons Restaurant. UNI HIGH EDUCATION FOUNDATION
UHEF is a non-profit organization that fundraises and supports the enrichment of educational experience of students at University High School Charter, a public high school in Los Angeles Unified School District. Today, only Performing Arts Magnet schools have fundings for theatre. Uni is not one of them. Our mostly Title 1 student population does not have the same, once flourishing theatre program enjoyed by the countless famous names who attended Uni high in the past. UHEF is the sole funding source for Uni High Theatre. It serves about 50 students in an after-school program putting on a full scale musical production each semester.
