2020 Pete's Triple Play
Please join us for the 5th annual PETE'S TRIPLE PLAY day. This year's event will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020. We have two events for you to choose to participate in this year. Following the events, everyone will meet at the Allen Johnson compound for late lunch/early dinner and drinks, live band, and fun from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. All proceeds will go to Fred Hutch Cancer Research center. We hope you can join us in supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, and honoring the taken.
PLEASE REGISTER BY JUNE 1, 2020.
This year's events are:
1. Golf Tournament at Apple Tree Golf Course. 8804 Occidental Road, Yakima, WA 98908. This year's tournament will be a 9 team net best ball format, similar to last year's. Space is limited for the golf tournament, so sign up early if you are interested. Golf Tournament starts at 8:45 AM.
2. Baseball/Softball Camp at Pete Orgill Field at Davis High School. Baseball/Softball camp for 7 - 14 year olds. REGISTRATION FOR BASEBALL CAMP ONLY IS ONLINE @ allstatebaseball.com/tripleplay
If you cannot make either of the events, we still want you to join us for the after party at the Allen/Johnson/Cheeseman compound (109 N. 82nd Ave., Yakima, WA 98908) at 3:00 p.m.
The after party at the Compound is always a lot of fun. We will have a Mexican food lunch/dinner catered by El Porton, cold beverages, a live band, a silent auction, and a raffle. Kids ages 12 and under can attend the party at no cost.
Grandpa Orgill's Whiskey Pull will be in full effect once again. Tickets for Grandpa Orgill's Whiskey Pull are $40 each, paid on the day of the event, and are limited by the number of whiskey bottles that are donated. Pete's Triple Play T-shirts, tank tops, and sweatshirts are available for purchase. If you would like to purchase a shirt, tank top, or sweatshirt, please contact Katie.
We always need good silent auction items and raffle prizes. If you are interested in donating a silent auction item or raffle prize, please contact Katie.
MEMORIAL TABLE. If you have someone that you would like to honor at this event, please email a picture of that person to Katie at orgillk@hotmail.com. We will frame the picture and put the picture on the memorial table. We honor everyone that has been afflicted with cancer: survivors, fighters, and lost loved ones. Please let us know the person's name and their status (fighting, survivor, or lost loved one). Please send the picture no later than June 10, 2020.
