Civic Erotica A Romantic Evening for a Good Cause

Looking for something sexy to do for Valentines Day? Want to contribute to make 2020 a year worth remembering? Does efficient mass transportation and a well-run union turn you on? We have the event for you!

Bring your sweetheart, partner, coworker, or yourself for intimate readings of civic erotica! These sultry stories cover such topics as voting, state propositions, and public utilities to get you stirred into more direct action. We will be serving a romantic supper to satisfy your carnal hunger (though honestly it might just be spaghetti.)

This evening is also a fundraiser to fight gerrymandering!
Oakland activist group Refreshments & Resistance has set up a Giving Circle with Future Now Fund, which is raising money for local campaigns in the purpler or redder states where gerrymandering is a huge problem. The funds will help pay local organizers, printing flyers and signs, running ads, etc, and support liberal Democrats running in places like North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, and others. With your help, we can flip those states and give them just want they need. 100% of your ticket price and donations will support this cause!

Please get your tickets ASAP so we can get an accurate headcount to help us determine the right size venue (ie: whos living room.) (Limited tickets will be sold at the door dependent on space.)
