METAMORPHOSES
Set in and around a giant pool of Water, METAMORPHOSES features several of Ovid's tales of transformation, destruction or renewal. Originally produced in Chicago in the late 90's by Lookingglass Theatre, and directed by the author/adaptor, Mary Zimmerman, this play has since been performed all over the world. Sometimes funny and irreverent, sometimes deeply tragic; these myths capture something of all of the hidden areas of the human psyche. Its magical, mysterious, watery setting creates a world where the myths are captured in all of their eternal and tenacious glory.
Please be advised that this play contains adult situations and themes.
