Kitsap Heritage Family Celebration - Historically Speaking...
Please join us for our 9th annual Heritage Family Celebration to be held at the Gold Mountain Golf Club, Friday, October 11. This annual celebration recognizes six remarkable families whose Kitsap roots date back a century or more. The program includes videos of each family and highlights their significant contributions to our area. The legacy of these pioneer families helps us recognize the power of individual community leadership in shaping our future and supports the 70 year commitment of Kitsap County Historical Society and Museum to preserve and share our legacy. The 2019 celebration will not disappoint! We are recognizing the William Cline Family, Nicholas Hein Family, Iversen Family, John A. & Brita Johnson Family, Keith, McPherson, Mitchell Family, and Alipio & Kathleen Oligario Family. A lovely catered meal will be served along with our dessert dash event.
Tickets are $75 per person. $35 children under 14. Proceeds from this event are committed to the production of new exhibits, creating immersive, sensory experiences to better relate the rich history of Kitsap County.
