In celebration of Global Tiger Day, ShowMe Tigers will be offering a special behind-the-scenes Tiger Encounter at Circus World on Saturday, July 27 at 6:00 pm. Global Tiger Day was created with the purpose of raising awareness to the plight of wild tigers - a species whose numbers have been decimated by 97% over the last century. ShowMe Tigers, working with the International Elephant Foundation, has again doubled our annual pledge to $10,000 this year toward helping protect wild tigers in Sumatra.
Tickets are available for a $50 donation. This exclusive, after-hours event will host a number of activities, educating through entertainment and subsequently conserving through education. Enjoy a never-before-seen, special discussion and performance with our circus tigers. Take the opportunity of one-on-one conversation with our tigers owner and trainer. Both a silent auction and live auction will offer a variety of art and experiences. Witness a unique and special grand finale enrichment opportunity with our tigers to help highlight one of the largest threats to Sumatran tigers in their native habitats. You will have the opportunity to get a very special picture with one of our beautiful tigers (safely, of course!). Finally, take home a specially-designed Sumatra tiger finger painting.
A sandwich, snack and drink bar will be available, graciously offered by The Barn Restaurant and Bar. Tickets are limited. 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit the protection of wild tiger habitat in both the Way Kambas and Seblat National parks in Sumatra. Enjoy a fun-filled, tigerrific evening like you have never experienced before!
